Court Cages Fashion Designer For Attempting To Sacrifice Nephew
The Sunyani District Court 'A' on Monday remanded into police guardianship Benjamin Adjei, a-23-year-old style planner, who endeavored to forfeit his nephew for cash customs.

Indicting, Sergeant Eric Agyenim Boateng told the Court, managed by Jojo Amoah Hagan, that the suspect was captured on Saturday, May 15, at the Abesim-Tanoso Barrier on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway.
He said a witness told the Abesim Police that he got a call from the suspect, who requested his help to see a ritualist to forfeit his nephew for cash ceremonies.
The examiner said the suspect baited the person in question, Listowel Adjei, a 13-year-old class six understudy of the Abesim Presbyterian "A" Primary and Junior High School, into a taxi with enrollment number BA 505-21 enroute to the said ritualist.
Upon a clue, the police laid trap at the Abesim-Tanoso Barrier and captured the presume along with the person in question.
Police Sergeant Boateng said a pack containing a cutlass, blade, red calico, a major pot, an amount of cola nuts, cowries and GHC300.00 were recovered from the suspect.
During cross examinations, he conceded the wrongdoing, indictment said.
