Actress Xandy Kamel Finally Apologizes To Salma Mumin After GHC1m Defamatory Suit

Tv presenter and actress Xandy Kamel has swallowed the humble pie has apologized to colleague actor, Salma Mumin after she was slapped with a Ghc1m lawsuit over defamatory comments made against her some months ago.

Xandy Kamel in March this year labelled Salma Mumin as an international prostitute in one of her shows on Angel Tv which did not sit well with the beautiful actress. Fumed by Xandy’a allegations, Salma filed a lawsuit against the presenter and the Tv station.

The writ stated that Xandy Kamel should seize from publishing the same or similar defamatory statements about her on her show and publish in the Daily Graphic and on Angel TV unqualified apology and a retraction of the said statements with the same prominence and passion with the defamatory statements were made.

It also ordered Angel TV to remove from its archives be it electronic or whatever form the said defamatory statement. She also demanded compensatory damages in excess of GHC1 million in addition. Xandy Kamel who has been quiet over the lawsuit has done the needful by apologising on Live Tv to the actress asking for forgiveness and a chance to work with her.
